How the app works

One page for every player. One organized list for your fundraiser.

The organizer enters the player roster and fundraiser details. The app creates a shareable page for each player, collects supporter names and shirt choices, and keeps the final order organized.

01 / SET UP YOUR FUNDRAISER

Set up your fundraiser

Add the campaign dates, support options, and each player’s name and number. Add the payment method each player will receive money through. The app creates a personal page link for every player.

02 / SHARE YOUR PAGE

Share your page

Fans open a player’s link, choose how they want to support, and enter the name they want printed. Fans ordering a shirt can select their size. Each entry gets a unique payment reference to include in the payment note.

03 / CONFIRM & ORGANIZE

Confirm & organize

Fans pay the player directly through the selected payment app. The player checks their account, matches the reference, and marks the payment as received. When the fundraiser ends, the app groups confirmed names and shirt orders into an editable spreadsheet for the organizer.

More ways to show up for your team

Let every fan choose how to help.

A grandparent can add a name. A proud parent can get a shirt, too. Your fundraiser can offer these three simple choices.

Add your name

Become a fan

Support a player and have your name, family name, or business name included on the back of that player’s fundraiser shirt.

Wear your support

Order a shirt

Buy a shirt featuring your selected player’s fan list. It’s also an option for supporters who already added their name and want another shirt.

Support prices, available shirt sizes, name limits, and delivery arrangements are set for each fundraiser before it opens.

Built around busy players and parents

Share the link. The details come directly to us.

Between practice, games, school, and work, there’s already plenty to keep up with. Online ordering lets fans submit their own information and pay in one place.

Players and parents focus on inviting supporters. USA Custom Gear receives the paid order details needed to organize the fan lists and shirts.

A reason to reach out

Players can invite the people who cheer them on to become part of their shirt. Family names and local business names make each fan list personal.

A plan your organizer can explain

Before sharing the fundraiser, confirm the selling prices, program costs, your group’s share, deadlines, and how the shirts and proceeds will be delivered.

Know what your group will receive. Your fundraiser plan should clearly show how support purchases and shirt sales contribute to your goal.

Your fundraiser questions

A clear plan before the first link is shared.

Here’s how player pages, fan entries, payments, and the final shirt order work together.

How does a fan shirt fundraiser work?

The organizer sets up the fundraiser and player roster. Each player gets a personal page to share with supporters. Fans choose a support option, enter the name they want printed, and select a shirt size if ordering a shirt. They then pay the player directly using the payment method shown on that player’s page.

What does the organizer need to get started?

The organizer enters the campaign dates, support options, and each player’s name and number, along with the payment method each player will receive money through. Shirt design, pricing, program costs, and delivery arrangements should be agreed before the fundraiser opens.

Do players have to keep a list of fan names and shirt sizes?

No. Fans enter their own print names and shirt choices on the player’s page, and the app keeps those entries organized. Players still need to check their payment accounts and mark matching payments as received.

How does an entry get connected to the right player?

Each player has a personal page link. Entries submitted through that page are associated with that player. Fans should check the player’s name before submitting their information or sending payment.

Can fans pay with Venmo, PayPal, or another payment app?

Fans use the payment method shown on the player’s page. The available method depends on what was entered for that player during setup. Payments go directly to the player; the fundraiser app does not receive the money.

What is the payment reference, and why should fans include it?

Each fan entry gets a unique payment reference. Fans include that reference in their payment note so the player can match the transfer to the correct entry, even when the payer’s account name differs from the name being printed.

Are payments confirmed automatically?

No. The player checks their payment account, matches the payment reference, and marks the payment as received in the app. Submitting an entry does not confirm payment. The app tracks the recorded payment status but does not automatically verify transfers.

Can businesses have their names included?

Yes. Fans can submit an individual, family, or business name within the name length and content guidelines for the fundraiser. A text-only fan listing includes the business name, rather than a business logo.

What appears on the extra shirts fans purchase?

Extra shirts feature the fan list for the player whose page the fan used. Each player’s list is kept separate. Fans ordering shirts select their size when entering their shirt choices.

What does the organizer receive when the fundraiser ends?

The app groups confirmed fan names and shirt orders by player into an editable spreadsheet for the organizer. The organizer can review the information and prepare the final order for USA Custom Gear.

How much money will our group keep?

The amount raised depends on your support prices, confirmed payments, shirt orders, and agreed program costs. Before launch, the organizer should confirm how money collected by individual players will be handled and how the final apparel order will be paid.

How long does the fundraiser run, and when do shirts arrive?

The campaign dates, final order deadline, production schedule, and delivery arrangements are agreed before launch. After the fundraiser closes, the organizer reviews the confirmed entries and finalizes the shirt order with USA Custom Gear.
